We are so excited about this opportunity and we hope you are, too. So in this first step towards adding new Official Fansites to Habbo.com, we're asking you to submit your nom nom ... nomination.
We know that you are extremely passionate about a lot of things and Fansites would be one of those for many of you... so in order for this not to get completely out of hand,
please take into consideration the following:- No matter if a Fansite receives one nomination or 100,
we will consider all nominees equally.
- Please do not nominate scam sites, retros or other types of illegal sites, this might result in a permanent ban for all your Habbos.
- We will not base our judgment on rumors, hearsay or general badmouthing of certain Fansites. We have a team that will look into all potential Fansites and only if something bad shows up in their files will we disqualify the site in question. So please do not get into fights with each other over who should and should not become Official, that decision will ultimately lie with us.
- We cannot have too many Official Fansites and the competition will no doubt be fierce. We know that a lot of you have put down much thought and hard work into your Fansites, and we promise to give everybody a fair chance!
- Because it is so important that we are able to work with the sites we pick, we have to set the bar high. We will look for sites that offer something to the Habbos, that are up-to-date, with active owners and associates (we are not saying that owners and associates have to be logged on at all times, just that they have a passion for Habbo). And quite obviously, sites that follow the
Fansite Way.
- Our standard is also high for how the Fansite looks. Keep in mind that we are looking for good ambassadors for Habbo US that we can recommend to all of our users, so it is important that they look good and have that Habbo feel as well as their own individual style.
.. and one last thing, if you own a Fansite, please make sure that your Habbo name is listed somewhere plain to see, preferably along with anyone that has an official role within your site.We will leave the nomination poll up until
Friday, October 9th, which will give you plenty of time to give your Fansites one last polish, as we will not start looking at any Fansite until Monday, October 12th.

PS: There is no need to nominate the
Fansites that are already official, but rest assured, we will give those an extra look, too :)
