Train your pet into a champion, perform in pet shows and have pet play dates with your friends in the Hotel. These are just a few of the fantastic updates to your furry and scaly friends that we have released!
Some tips to get you started:
1. Pets have a new home! You can now find all your pets in the 'Pets' section of your Inventory. This displays all pets that are not currently roaming your rooms.
2. Select your pet. Click your pet to see all of its stats. If you want to start training your pet, simply click the '
train' button. Each pet has a level and you can get as high as level 20. The levels gained never go down.
On the first level, you can only teach your pet one simple command. However, you will unlock additional commands as your pet levels up. Every successful command your pet does will result in your pet gaining experience points. When points are received, a yellow star will appear temporarily over their head. While your pet gets experience for doing tricks, you should bear in mind that it will also make your pet tired and will reduce its energy.
Remember to give your pet a rest by selecting '
free' when its too tired to obey your commands.
3. Feed your pet. Every food item now comes with nutrition points. You can see how much nutrition each food type offers by selecting the type of food in the Catalog. Don't forget your pet can eat multiple times from each food item. After your pet has eaten, their energy will go up and you will be able to start training again.
4. Reach for the sky. When you reach higher levels through training your pet, more commands will become available and your pet will become more obedient.
5. Make pet play dates and compete! Pick your pet up so that it appears in your inventory, then simply place the pet in any private room that allows pets. Your pet will appear in front of you if there's a free tile available. When you leave a room, your pet is automatically placed back into your Inventory. Also, if someone kicks your pet out of a room, you're kicked out too. You can only take out one pet at a time, but make sure they all get some visiting time to keep them happy.
You can now limit pet access to your room by changing your room settings.
6. Don't forget your accessories. Provide your pets with water and balls to play with. Also, check out our new cushions. You'll need one for your pet to have a good night sleep. If you already owned a pet before this update, you will still have the standard nest.
7. Take good care of your pet and your friends pets! If your pet is feeling down or you want your pet to earn experience, you can give it a scratch. You only have a few scratches to use per day, so spend them wisely.
