A whopping 3070 of you replied to our last poll about the CA+COM merge, giving us lots of good feedback to work with! So much so that we have another round of questions for you that we would love to get your feedback on. However, before we get to that, we want to go through some results and questions from the last poll!
SOME THINGS WE LEARNED:* According to our statistics, the .COM Hotel has an average peak user amount of 9,000 Habbos each day. The majority of Habbos are from the US, but the other half is made up of Habbos from Canada, Brazil, the UK, and all over the world!
* 40% of you would like one single Hotel that is open to all, a few wanted separate quarters for Canadian and American users, and the rest wouldn't mind one way or the other.
* 54% of you wanted to be able to show others where you're from, while 28% of you would like that to be a secret.
YOUR QUESTIONS, OUR ANSWERS:Habbo NamesThe poll showed that you were mostly concerned about your Habbo names. In cases where two names crash, we would like to let the more active Habbo keep the name. Habbos that will have to change their names will be notified prior to the merge.
In cases where you own Habbos with the same name in both Hotels, we are looking at ways to combine your two accounts. However, this will not likely happen until some time after the merger.
The most important thing is still to make sure that your email address is correct and verified. The easiest way to do this, is actually to connect your Habbo(s) to your accounts on Facebook, Yahoo, Google or MSN.
FurniYou will get to keep all your Furni items, Teleports will still work, Trax songs you have created will also be there!
You were also worried about Rare values. For the few Rares whose values will drop drastically, we are looking into ways to compensate the owners. However, we would like to mention that some Rares will actually go up in value due to the increased number of traders!
Payment MethodsYou will still be able to purchase Habbo Credits exactly as you have done in the past. Prepaid cards purchased in both Canada and US will be accepted after the merge!
New FriendsSome of you were also a little worried about being bullied or harassed in the Hotel after the merge. Rest assured that our entire Staff of moderators will be alert to any harassment or bullying should it occur! Remember this, though, we have visitors from all over the world at all hours of the day. In Habbo Hotel, a stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet! So keep an open mind and expect to find a lot of new friends :)
