First some news about the timing of the merge. Developers are in the finishing stages of preparations now, but they still want to make 110% sure that nothing is left behind, which is why we have decided to push back the merge a little, until the middle of April. Our number one priority is that this transition happens as smooth as possible!
SURVEY SAYS...A couple of weeks ago, we asked you to share some of your thoughts and feelings about the merge, and near 3000 Habbos responded. When we looked at your answers, we saw that the results were very similar in both .COM and .CA. You are positive to the same things, and you have concerns about the same things.
The majority of Habbos in both hotels say that they are positive to the merge:- 2 out of 3 believe there will be more stuff happening around the clock
- 2 out of 3 believe there will be more variety in Habbo-organized activities
- 1 out of 4 Habbos is very eager and says "I can't wait!"
- every second Habbo thinks that it will take a while for all Habbos to feel united, but then things will be back to normal
- and every second Habbo thinks that it will take a while for all Habbos to feel united, but that things will be all new and exciting!
We asked you what kind of positive things you think Habbos from the other Hotel will bring to the new, merged Hotel:*In .COM the top 3 things were friendships, Furni and games.
*In .CA the top 3 things were friendships, good attitude and Rares.
Not very different, huh?
And speaking of similarities, we also asked you what your favorite thing about Habbo is:
Top 5 Favorites in .COM:* Friends
* Games
* Trading
* Room building
* Furni
Top 5 Favorites in .CA:* Friends
* Games
* Trading
* Room building
* Chatting
.. it is near impossible to tell the two Hotels apart in this category!So when we look at one of your biggest concerns, which seems to be whether or not the other Habbos are like you, we think we can safely say that they pretty much are. And yes, there will always be differences, but these differences already exist within your Hotel, because Habbos are different! The majority of you even said in the survey that you think there is a lot you can learn from Habbos from the other Hotel. So keep an open, friendly mind, and show them that Habbo is Habbo, no matter where you are from!
