It's been quite a year for StrayPixels and the supremely talented individuals who take part in its competitions. We explored pets, expressions, the underworld, easels, fighting games, our worst fears, trick or treating, and hair. Safely traversing such a varied and wildly strange set of themes while keeping ones sanity in check is no easy feat. And with such an amazing amount of superb submissions for our last theme of the year, movie posters, something equally varied and wildly strange had to be done.
First we have our 3 winners. We then decided to take the 2 honorable mention winners and bump them up to full wins making our winners pile up to 5. But then we thought... 5? Why not something bigger... like... 8! Yes 8. And then we realized even numbers are so... even... and we really like being odd.
So we changed it to 9!
Typically the winning Habbos can't enter the next theme after they win... but we've trashed that rule this time allowing them to enter the new theme for January. And, because we're still all joyous from New Years we've also added the winning movie posters into the web catalog for
free so that everyone can decorate their pages with these awesome submissions!
