eGen Presents: Trouble Online

eGen Presents: Trouble Online

Drop by today's Infobus session to learn more about protecting your privacy online

Recently, we learned about a survey from a local polytechnic indicating that 33.6% of young people would actually reveal personal information about themselves online. Isn't that kind of strange? Think about it: would you give out your phone number or home address to someone you just met on the street?

Maybe you're thinking, Nah, I don't do that. I'm careful about my real-life details. But how are you sure? Maybe you've already unwittingly given out your details without being aware of the consequences.

So if you want to know how to protect yourself online and the precautions you need to practise, come on down to the Infobus today, 3 March, from 1730h to 1930h, as eGen presents an interesting discussion on how to avoid revealing personal info online and keeping yourself safe from identity theft. See you there!
