A Filipino-Canadian girl has caught the attention of the pop princess herself, Lady Gaga! The lucky star in waiting is Maria Aragon from Winnipeg.
She sang a cover of the hottest song at the moment, "Born This Way", and uploaded it to YouTube. This seems normal enough, except Maria’s video has now received over 21 million views! How amazing is that?!
Lady Gaga Tweeted Maria’s video after seeing it and claimed that the video brought a smile to her face after having a bad day. To top it all off, Maria was invited to sing with Gaga at her upcoming concert.
It looks like a case of repeat success! Greyson Chance also did a cover of Paparazzi and now he’s about to release his first album!
Lady Gaga is truly an inspiration to others to dream and reach for the stars. She’s not only a music icon of the modern day, but she is also a philanthropist for many organizations.
