Habbovision Song Contest

We've all watched Idol and The X-Factor, but there's one show where real talent is optional. Yes the Eurovision Song Contest is on again and if you've never seen it before... you might want to look away now ;)

Each year, countries from all over Europe submit songs to perform live on TV. Contestants then go head-to-head in rounds and votes are cast to find the most popular song overall.

This year the UK's submission has been put straight through to the finals, so to celebrate we're holding our very own Habbovision Song Contest!

PART ONE: YOUTUBE VIDEO
1. Record a short and snappy 1 minute video in Habbo, introducing your band, its members (max 4) and why the community should vote for you. You can also use real life footage of the band if you want to. Remember: humour always helps ;)

2. Upload your entry to YouTube. Title HAS to be Habbo.com Habbovision Song Contest. Please also include your band name and band members' Habbo names AND a link to your band’s Head Quarters or practice space in your video description. You'll find the room link in your 'Room Info' box.

3. Promote your video to get views and likes!


PART TWO: FACEBOOK GROUP
1. Get one of your band members to create a Facebook Fan page.

2. Take your time to fill out your band info, upload images and your YouTube video. Basically think of ways you can make your group as interesting and as interactive as possible. Just have fun with it!

3. Invite everyone you know to join your Facebook page - spread the word!

We'll be selecting finalists based in part by the videos, but our judging will be strongly influenced by amount of views and likes on YouTube + members of your Facebook page.

Finalists: The members of each band selected to go through to the finals will receive a Habbovision Runners Up Badge! The videos will also be displayed in Habbo's Official YouTube channel.

We'll put up a poll for you to vote and the winning team members will receive...

3rd Place: a Bronze Habbo Trophy and a Habbovision Winners Badge!
2ndPlace: a Silver Habbo Trophy and a Habbovision Winners Badge!
1st Place: a Gold Habbo Trophy and a Habbovision Winners Badge!
