Skating in Habbo is fairly free of faceplants and other (embarrassing) injuries, and it might make you feel like an expert in the art of the wheeled board. But how do you fare in real life??
Whether you're a skateboarding fail or can do a heel-flip like it's nothing, we want to see just how good (or bad) you are!

THIS IS HOW:[/size]
1. Get a hold of some form of film making device (could be a video recorder, your cell phone, a point-and-shoot camera with a video function.. etc etc)
2. Get someone to hold said camera up and press record as you prove your might on a skateboard (yes, you can obviously also just put the camera down somewhere).
Whether you're pretty awesome or straight out awful doesn't matter - we just want a 30 second video of it. PS. in this competition, funny makes a good substitute for skill!3. Oh, and this is fairly important, too: Write
"HABBO.COM" on a piece of paper and make sure it's visible somewhere in your video.
4. Once you've got it on (digital) tape, you can choose to add music, fancy editing of sorts, or maybe some funny commentary to it - or you could just leave it as is.
5. Upload video to this little known website called
YouTube.com, and make sure you name it:
Habbo.com - Skateboarding and add your Habbo name (and the name of any other Habbos who might have helped you out in this endeavor in the description. This is to avoid any confusion as to who made it.
... ALSO:* You can show your face and all that, just don't give away your exact location.
* If your real-life friends are also on Habbo, you can get together and make an awesome video featuring all of you, just make sure your friends are somehow IN the video with you as well (if
one friend is holding the camera, that's okay).

1. You already uploaded your video to Youtube, right, so all you got to do now, is copy the link to your master piece, and click this email address:
competitions.com@sulake.com - make sure your subject line reads:
RL Skater2. Add your Habbo name and the names of any friends that appear in your video with you.
3. Click send before Tuesday July 5th at 9am EST (that's 6am in Los Angeles, 2pm in London, 9pm in Singapore, and 11pm in Sydney).

We'll be picking the most entertaining videos of the bunch (looking for skill or humor) and everyone involved will obviously receive
a special Skateboard Badge (with Duckie on it). We also have
a decked out Skate pack for you to enjoy (ramps and rails and graffiti, too).
The best videos will be posted on our
Facebook page and on
Habbo's official YouTube channel (0.15 seconds of fame!) --
So here's a good tip for you: if you have a room in the Hotel that you'd like to add some extra attention to (a skatepark perhaps?), add the link to this room in your video description as well!
