BaW Team Selection Competition

As many of you are aware, the wonderful Peachery's (double-term!) time as MaW is up. So you know what that means? The hunt to find our great new BaW team is on!

But this time the selection process will be a little different.  We are excited to announce that it will be a longterm building competition in which six teams will battle it out in weekly challenges over a period of six weeks to become the new BaW team.

How will it work?

Each week, the teams will be given a theme that they have to work with. They will be told on the Monday and have to submit their entry by the Friday of that same week.

Their entries will be showcased in the navigator over the weekend giving Habbos a chance to voice their opinions before one of the teams has to pack up their tool-kit and is eliminated on the Monday.

The Teams

Each aspiring BaW team will have 1 leader and 2 helpers.

We recommend combining skill sets with each team having a member who's got an eye for design, somebody who knows their stuff when it comes to wiring and a natural story teller.

The Winning Team

The BaW season will last four months and all three members of the team will have access to Sandbox. The season will start early/mid August.

Meet The Judges

Amaiazing will team together with Corlay and icearbr, well known in the field of building after having run previous Building Corp competitions, and whizz with wired, current BaW member HighSparrow.

Of course, the final choice is down to the Habbo team but the judging panel will be offering their expertise in the areas of building and wired.

Prizes

All teams who enter the initial application round will receive a badge.
The final six teams will receive a special badge.
The final three teams will receive a trophy and one week of BC.

How to Enter

• With your team, create a room based around the theme of "movement". We have specifically chosen a broad theme so that your team can interpret it as you wish.
• Send your entries to builders.com@sulake.com by 7:00am CEST the 17th of June 2020.
• In your email please include the room link, the name of the leader (clearly marked) and the other two members.
• Edit: Please also attach a screenshot of the room in the email.

Please note: this first entry does not have to be a game, but to be in with the best chance of being selected we would recommend showcasing some wired talent.

Previous MaWs cannot enter this competition.

The six teams will be selected on the 19th of June and the six teams will be notified of their first challenge on the 22nd of June.
