This morning while Loderse was out making her rounds of the hotel, she notices a shiny object that seemed to be buried in the grass. Loderse knelt down dig out this object and started to rub off some of the dirt. It began to look like an old fashioned lamp but as she rubbed the lamp harder, a mist began to fill the yard around her and suddenly a cloud of smoke billowed from the lamp and out popped a girl in a funny looking hat… with a really long beard.
“Greetings! I am Jinn! It is my obligation to grant one single, solitary wish to those who summon me from the lamp. But you know what they say..." said a melodious voice.
Loderse sat on the ground for a moment, stunned. When she realized what Jinn had just said, she climbed to her feet and thought really hard.
“Anything I want, huh?” she asked. “You know, we've been working really hard lately and I think we could use a sanctuary, some place really beautiful where we could relax after a hard day's work."
“You can wish for absolutely anything,” said Jinn, “but choose your words wisely!“
“I want a place where we can have fun anytime!!!” Loderse interrupted.
“As you wish!” The ground began to shake as she twirled about in the air. In the distance, a beautiful golden palace materialized before their very eyes.
“That's some twirl” said Loderse.
“Thanks,” Jinn squeaked, “that’s what two years at dance college will get ya.”
“Say, what’s with the beard?” asked Loderse.
“Oh, yeah, that’s something they don’t tell ya at the G.E.A – Genie Employment Agency – it’s where us genies get our power. Just another little ‘perk’ of the job, I guess! But enough about me, why don’t we go explore your new palace?”
Loderse followed Jinn up a shimmering walkway and through ornately carved doors. Inside, she was surrounded by gorgeous tables, chairs, and rugs all in a glowing green color and sweets and treats as far as she could see
(which are all located in the Alhambra, Trax, and Deals section of the catalog). Loderse felt all her cares start melting away. “This is so beautiful,” she said, “I feel better already!”
“Good!” smiled Jinn, “make yourself at home. I will check back later.” And with another poof of smoke and a mischievous laugh, Jinn disappeared back into the lamp.
