It's no mean feat for a game to reach the ripe old age of 20. To make sure we mark the occasion properly, we've got two months packed full of activities, competitions, and brand new items!
Bonnie, Piccolo and Frank are trying their hardest to prepare the Hotel for a big 20th birthday party. Frank has employed Maude to help get every
thing organised and she's seemingly been a big help so far. (Do any Habbo veterans remember Maude?) Anyway, things keep going wrong and we need your help to get to the bottom of it!
Builders, artists, videographers, and fashionistas: you'll all get the chance to win one of four shiny new 20th birthday-themed trophies! Keep an eye on our website for more information and announcements about the competitions you can enter to win them.
There will also be an opportunity to win trophies exclusive to a competition we're running on Twitter. There are gold, silver and bronze versions and it'll be difficult to win them – particularly the gold one! Check the news section of our website later this month for more information about how to win these shiny new items.
We've really gone to town this time. Why not? We're 20 years old, we're allowed to, right? As well as launching the summer calendar today, in August we'll be releasing some brand new clothing items to match the glitzy, party theme. We'll be giving some non-tradable versions of the clothing away in advance on Twitter in late July, so go follow us if you're interested! We've also made a new mini furni line to commemorate our 20th birthday and we've extended the existing Rainy Day line. These lines will be available at the same time as their respective bundles are. They're BACK! What's a birthday party without balloons, anyway? There are two different types – Rose Gold Balloons and Trimmed Rose Gold Balloons – and they'll be available separately during several 24-hour windows through July until mid-August.
Rose Gold Balloons can contain a variety of different clothing items. There is also a small chance that they will contain another Rose Gold Balloon and an even smaller chance that they will contain a Trimmed Rose Gold Balloon!
Trimmed Rose Gold Balloons are guaranteed to contain a brand new rose gold recolour of one of 16 of our classic rares. These rares are extremely hard to get and will never, ever be sold again.
