In addition to ensuring our community can actually access and play Habbo, over the next few weeks we’ll be focusing on building.
One of the big issues for the Habbo community is the building mechanic. So, our devs will now be focusing on improving it as well as the previously mentioned access and performance issues.
‘Selected furni’ indicator – we’re going to add an indicator that clearly shows which furni Habbos have selected.
Sticky notes – these are super important for builders and other Habbos, so we plan to implement a very basic version so that you can see and read the sticky notes your rooms had before the transition to Unity.
Floorplan editor – we’re going to add the option to zoom out more when using the floorplan editor.
‘Move’ functionality – at the moment you can only eject or rotate furni. We’re going to add the ‘move’ function back to make building easier.
Keeping old tab/category when opening and closing inventory and BC.
Focus/unfocus on avatar function – this has been requested quite a few times, and we agree it’s pretty important to have while building.
Clicking system – this isn’t working well at the moment, and yeah I agree that it’s super important for both builders and the rest of the community.
I know that there are other improvements and fixes you all really need to get the most out of your time playing Habbo like better room rights, certain non-functioning furni being implemented, and so on.
So, while I’m working closely with community leaders to ensure we prioritise the right features and functionality in our development team’s workload, we’re also checking social media, particularly Twitter.
