Operation Lodie-Rescue!

Operation Lodie-Rescue!

CrestHawk is on a secret mission to save our Hotel Manager!

After Jinn slipped into a hypnotic trance while listening to the amazing TRAX submissions, the coast was clear and I was able to set out on my assignment to get Loderse back!

The plan was all in place. I had taken some of the marshmallows left behind by GAB and laid them out in a trail throughout the palace. Knowing Loderse and her sweet tooth, I hoped beyond all hope she’d follow them through the palace to a room I had secured.

Just as I placed the final marshmallow, an eerie silence filled the hall. The TRAX music had been turned off! Just as I realized this, I saw a wisp of smoke and ducked out of sight behind a tall pillar. Jinn was making her rounds, ensuring things were just how she wanted them to be, just as she had done every day for the last two weeks.

As Jinn came closer, I knew I needed a better place to hide. I found the nearest Ornamental Urn, freed the snake who had been inhabiting it, and jumped inside. I carefully lifted the lid and peeked out to see Jinn inspecting the fluffy sweets. This mess was obviously unacceptable to her and she snapped her fingers and Housekeeping appeared to clean it up. As she turned around to leave the help to their task, a vacuum cleaner got just a little bit too close and sucked her right up!

I couldn’t believe my pixilated eyes! I never imagined that a vacuum cleaner would do all the dirty work… Ha! Dirty work. Vacuum.

As I sat in the urn, amused by Jinn’s sudden vanishing act, I reached for the lid again only to come up with a fistful of air. As I looked around, all the furni in the palace started to dematerialize! One by one all of the rooms Jinn had created began to evaporate.

The now empty halls echoed with my hurried footsteps. I frantically scoured the remaining rooms and found Loderse in a deep sleep. We had to get out of there before we disappeared along with the palace! I tried to wake her but she was dazed and disoriented. I helped her down the steps of the palace, stumbling as the last step vanished beneath our feet. We had made it out just in time!

I guided Loderse back into the Hotel to one of her own rooms so she could get some rest. It’ll take a couple of days for her to come out of her two-week daze. Hopefully she’ll be back to her normal self by Monday. I know the rest of the staff and I want to throw her a welcome back party. Lets say around 5pm (pacific) on Monday 4/28.

After I had a moment to catch my breath, I returned to the place where the palace once stood. The only things left behind were the Habbo-created West Wing rooms and a bunch of furni left behind in a hotel storeroom. I checked the Hotel Catalog and the furni was still there but I have a feeling that in a few days that catalog page will fade away just like the rest of the palace. But what matters most is that our Hotel Manager is safe and sound!

Mission: Accomplished!
