Besides its spectacular fashion, the 80s were fantastic for pop culture. We’re taking the opportunity to pay homage to an unforgettable decade with a brand new competition.
To do well in this competition, you’re gonna need skills. BUILDING skills. Objective: faithfully recreate a scene from your favourite 80s movie or music video!
So, whether it’s Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Want To Have Fun” or Steven Spielberg’s award winning movie “ET”, choose your favorite 80s tune or film and recreate a pixellated scene of it inside Habbo.
Rules:
- For this competition you will need to build a room inspired on the scenography of the music video or movie you’ve chosen and imitate the dress style used.
- It must be a recognisable music video or movie! If you think it’s at all obscure, please include a YouTube link to it. This will help us to judge the competition.
- Up to two Habbos max can work together (no clone accounts please!)
- Send us an email to habbocompetitions@sulake.com. Please include:
- The names of the Habbo(s) who worked on the entry. Remember: only two can work on one entry!
- A screenshot of the room with the room ID/hotel or link.
- The name of the movie or song you’ve chosen, along with the YouTube link.
- All entries should be submitted by 20/08/2021 at 23:00 (CEST)
Prizes:
- All accepted entries will receive a badge and a Aquamarine Capybara
- 5 runners up will receive 14 days of BC, 10 diamonds and a special badge.
- Top place will receive a month of BC, 20 diamonds, a special badge AND a new Vintage Polaroid Camera!
