Change can take a little getting use to, but once you start using these new Habbo features you won’t remember how you ever functioned without them.
Bigger and BetterWhen Habbo was first built, people had small computer screens, but the times have changed. The new
widescreen format makes Habbo bigger and better on your computer. Your rooms will look larger and now there's room on the side for the new features. When you're in the hotel, look at the bottom of the window and you'll see we
updated the icons in the toolbar.
Instant MessagesWith the old messaging console, trying to have multiple conversations with people was slow and required a lot of extra mouse clicks. So we thought: what better way to beat this, than to
change the console messages to Instant Messages! We all use various instant messengers like MSN messenger or AIM during our time outside of Habbo, so why not just make things easier and bring them right into Habbo!
Friends ListWe’ve also included new features to help you quickly organize your Friends List. Now you can create categories for your friends in the Friend Management tool, so it I’ll be even easier to see who’s online.
To manage your Friend List, navigate to your Account Settings page (from the Habbo homepage not inside the hotel). Select 'Friend Management' from the menu on the left hand side of the page (below you’ll see your email, password and motto settings) and follow the options.
My MessagesBefore you had to go to the console to view your messages, but now they'll be right there when you log in and now you can
save messages too! Plus, now you have can format the text of these like when you write on a guestbook.
