2 whole years, feels like it’s flown by tbh 😅
We’re immensely proud with how much utility we’ve brought to our holders and the wider Habbo community, how many features and integrations we’ve rolled out to Habbo and Habbo X, and overall, how much progress we’ve made.
To celebrate our 2nd anniversary, we’ll be releasing a variety of new items and we’ll host five days of activities inside Habbo X, commencing at around 9am UTC on Monday September 25th.

We’ll be opening up Habbo X to everyone on September 25th at around 9am UTC. Check this to see what time that is for you).

The open house will close on Friday September 29th at around 1pm UTC. Check this to see what time that is for you).
For the duration of the open house, there will be a special bot roaming the public rooms 🤖 Click on the bot when you see it and you will be able to claim free Habbo X Gift Boxes!
If you are successful, you'll be shown a notification. You can get 5 Habbo X Gift Boxes per day of the open house. The bot resets every day at 12:00am UTC, and the claim for the boxes you collect will go live in the NFT Shop on October 2nd.
You’ll also be able to buy Habbo X Gift Boxes from the Shop for 50 NFTC between September 25th and October 9th.
As you can see from the image, we're introducing NFT speech bubbles as a first for the ecosystem 🙌 These speech bubbles will work on both the Classic and Modern clients, and will be part of the Add Ons collection on Immutable.
Note:
Everyone who logs into the open house will be able to claim the above participation badge from the NFT Shop on Monday October 2nd. This is an NFT badge, and will be part of the Add Ons collection on Immutable.
If you own a Habbo X room, on Thursday September 28th, you’ll be able to claim free Habbo X Gift Boxes from our NFT Shop.
Check below for what you get for each type of room:
For example, if a wallet holds 2x Regular Rooms, 1x Junior Suite and 1x Presidential Suite Level 5, the owner will be able to claim 34x Habbo X Gift Boxes (4+5+25).
Please note that we did the snapshot for rooms earlier today.
Then, if your wallet contains one or more Habbo Portraits, on Thursday September 28th, you’ll be able to claim 5x Habbo X Gift Boxes from the NFT Shop.
IMPORTANT: we did the snapshot for portraits earlier today (September 21st, so please don’t split them between wallets. You will not get extra gift boxes on September 28th if you split your portraits between different wallets!
The other type of gift box we’re releasing is the Hodler 2nd Anniversary Gift. These gift boxes contain more items – some of them exclusive – and have better drop rates for some of the nicer items 🤩
Here’s what inside them:
Based on how many avatars you hold (Habbo Avatars and Crafted Avatars), you can claim gifts from the Shop for free on a daily basis for five days starting Monday September 25th. Check the numbers:
IMPORTANT: 1x Crafted Avatar = 2x Habbo Avatars for the above. E.g. 1x Crafted Avatar + 1x Habbo Avatar = 3x Avatars, which would mean you’d be able to claim 2x Hodler Gift Boxes + 1x Habbo X Gift on that day.
We’ll do snapshots for avatars on a daily basis, and the claims will be available on a daily basis too.
You’ll also be able to buy Hodler Gift Boxes from the Shop for 200 NFTC between September 25th and October 9th.
📆 On September 28th we’re hosting two community events in Habbo X.
You’ll be able to win an NFT badge for participating designed by Jeca and Habbo X 2nd Anniversary Gifts, and all prizes will be sent by October 9th 🤝 (Note that this badge is different to the 2nd Anniversary participation badge shown above.)
To celebrate our birthday we're releasing a TRIPPY HALO NFT effect 🫶 This will be part of the Habbo Add Ons collection on Immutable. It’ll be fully usable on all Habbo sites and Habbo X, and you’ll be able to select it on both the Classic and Modern clients.
You’ll be able to trade the effect freely on Immutable, even after you’ve worn it, just like you can with NFT clothing.
Exactly how this effect will be released is TBC 😯
