The color red has many meanings and is associated with energy, strength, power, determination and passion - to name a few. I wonder if this is what the folks at American Idol had in mind when they made the Red Room. Maybe they just like the color red. :]
If you don’t know what red room I am referring to, it is the semi-backstage room where the contestants hangout during the show.
[size=large]IN THE RED[/size]With all these Habbo American Idol hopefuls roaming the Hotel, they need help practicing their interview skills. Your task is to build your own red room (or get permission to use a friend's room), interview a Habbo American Idol contestant and capture it on “tape”. Check out the catalog for
red furniture to help with the theme.
The most entertaining and informative footage will be deemed the winner.Rules:- Your footage should be no more than two minutes in length - a few seconds over or under is fine!
- There should be only 2 Habbos in the footage – the interviewer and the Habbo American Idol contestant only!
- It will be up to you to record your scene and upload it to YouTube.com.
- The video needs to be filmed in Habbo – no real live footage/music please!
- No impersonating real life American Idol judges or contestants.

Prize: 2-3 sets of footage will win. The interviewer and contestant in each will be awarded a prize package that will include:
- A Rare Habbowood Director’s Chair
- A Hollywood badge
- Fame of having your name posted on the Official American Idol Group page and your interview footage may be added to the group as well.
Tips from Loderse:- Wikipedia has a great list of
screencasting software you can use. We recommend trying Hypercam.
- Before you press the record button, I suggest giving it a few trial runs.
